Pickup and delivery close to your front door
Door-to-door service means the driver comes as close to your address as they can legally and safely reach. You avoid driving to a terminal, and you hand over the keys in a place that suits you.
A good fit for
- Household moves
- Busy schedules
- Vehicles you can't easily drive to a terminal
- Delivery to a home or workplace
What happens on the day
- 1
The driver calls ahead
You get a call before arrival to agree the exact meeting point.
- 2
You meet near the address
On tight streets, a nearby open lot often works best for a full-size carrier.
- 3
Inspect and sign
You and the driver walk around the vehicle and record its condition.
- 4
Repeat at delivery
Check the vehicle against the report before you sign for it.
When a truck can't reach your street
Carriers are long and tall. Low trees, tight turns and local truck restrictions may rule out some streets. If that happens, the driver will suggest a nearby spot such as a large parking lot.
Who needs to be there
An adult needs to be present at pickup and delivery to review the condition report. If you can't be there, name someone you trust in your quote request.
If the street allows it, yes. Where a large truck can't get through safely, the driver will arrange to meet you as close as possible.
Yes. Give us the name and phone number of the person you are authorizing, and make sure they know what to check.
